How we won 14 media features for the merger of 2 innovation powerhouses
As of 11 February 2019, Found. and Collision 8 merged to become Found8; making them the largest innovation community in Singapore with more than 1,000 members and SGD 20 million dollars of growth investment. As the appointed Public Relations agency, we won 14 media features including The Business Times, e27, Yahoo News, Techsauce, Tech in Asia and more. We achieved a total estimated PR value of SGD $3M.
The mission
As of 11 February 2019, Found. and Collision 8 merged to become Found8; making them the largest innovation community in Singapore with more than 1,000 members and SGD 20 million dollars of growth investment.
Our task was to tell the story of this formidable partnership in a compelling and deeply human way.
The Brain Juice approach
Beyond what the merger meant for the business ecosystem, we wanted to shed light on the amazing women behind the merger. By focusing on the stories, experiences and contributions each power woman brought to the table, we were able to cut through the noise and give the merger announcement a human touch.
Our role
- Facilitating a workshop to align the views of both sides (Found and Collision 8).
- Interviewing both women to understand their unique contributions to the merger.
- Putting together a compelling press release for the media.
- Pitching the story to relevant media outlets and journalists.
